Privacy

SPCTRM was built with a fundamental commitment: your data about yourself belongs to you and only you.

No Server. No Accounts. No Tracking.

SPCTRM is a static web application. There is no server processing your data. There are no user accounts. There is no analytics, no tracking pixels, no cookies (beyond what your browser needs to cache the app for offline use).

Where Your Data Lives

All of your assessment responses, profiles, and preferences are stored in IndexedDB — a database built into your web browser. This data lives on your device and never leaves it unless you explicitly export it.

If you clear your browser data, your SPCTRM data will be deleted. We recommend using the export feature to back up your data periodically.

What We Collect

Nothing.

No data is transmitted from your device to any server. No analytics service receives information about your usage. No third party has access to any aspect of your interaction with SPCTRM.

Export and Sharing

When you use the export features (PDF, SVG, JSON backup), the files are generated entirely on your device using JavaScript. No data passes through any server during export.

Once exported, the files are on your device and under your control. What you do with them — share, print, store, delete — is entirely your choice.

Offline Support

SPCTRM includes a service worker that caches the application for offline use. This means the app works without an internet connection after your first visit. The service worker only caches the application code — it does not transmit any data.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete all of your SPCTRM data at any time from the History page. You can delete individual profiles or all data at once. Deletion is permanent and immediate.

You can also clear your browser's data for this site through your browser settings, which will remove all IndexedDB data.

Why This Matters

Information about your autistic experience is deeply personal. It touches on vulnerabilities, relationships, workplace dynamics, and your inner life. We believe this kind of data should never be held by a corporation, used for advertising, or accessible to anyone without your explicit, informed consent.

The simplest way to guarantee that is to never collect it in the first place.

In plain language: Your data stays on your device. We don't see it. We can't see it. We don't want to see it. It's yours.
